Optimize your SEO
If you search the internet you will find a million ways to optimize your website for SEO. If you’re anything like me, you appreciate simple and straight to the point. Who has the time to waste searching for all of the little nuggets of information?
Here are my simple, straight to the point tips for optimizing your website for SEO.
Your website should be your central hub that everything links back to. Have a new announcement? Have it on your website and share that page. Send everyone to your website.
Are you collaborating with another business? Ask them to share your website link within the article on their website. This is known as back links.
You can also use internal backlinks. This is when you direct traffic within your website. Example: your traffic starts at the welcome page, then you have a button (hyper linked) that leads them to another place on your website.
When you are naming the photos on your website use your key words. What do you specialize in? For example, the photos on my website are all named some sort of the following. Grand-Rapids-Michigan-Wedding-Photographer-Videography
Invite guest bloggers to write for your website. You not only get your traffic, but it also directs their traffic to your page. In honor of community and SEO, offer to guest blog for them too!
Go into the information of your website and ensure everything has your correct information and key words.
Make sure the content on your pages is relevant to your business.
Keep your website up to date.
Make sure your website is mobile capable.
